Lemon Juice Recipe (Lemon Basil Seed Drink)


Staying hydrated and healthy is a top priority, especially during busy days. One of my go-to midday pick-me-ups is a simple yet incredibly refreshing Lemon Basil Seed Drink. It's not only delicious but also packed with health benefits.

Let's Get Mixing!

Ingredients:

  • 2 juicy lemons
  • 1 tablespoon basil seeds (soaked in water for 15 minutes)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (or honey)
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Combine & Stir: In a pitcher, mix sugar (or honey), salt, and water. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Juice It Up: Squeeze the lemons into the pitcher.
  3. Add the Stars: Toss in the plumped-up basil seeds and a pinch of paper.
  4. Chill Out: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve & Enjoy: Pour into ice-filled glasses, garnish with lemon slices and fresh basil leaves.
